1. Publisher

The Gladstone website and the Gladstone Customs and Gladstone Tax & Law connectors are published and operated by Lex IA SARL, a limited liability company registered in Casablanca under trade register number 740481, reachable at management@tariq-ai.com. References to the publisher in the site’s documents designate Lex IA SARL.

2. The service

Gladstone is a documentary research service on United Kingdom customs law and tax law, delivered as two connectors used inside Claude or ChatGPT. It serves official texts, guidance and precedent for reading and citation. It provides information, not advice: the Terms state the boundaries, and the Privacy Policy states what is and is not processed.

3. No affiliation or endorsement

Gladstone is an independent service. It is not operated by, affiliated with or endorsed by any United Kingdom government body, including His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs, Border Force, HM Treasury or His Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service. It is likewise not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic or OpenAI. References to departments, tribunals and publications identify the sources the record reads, nothing more.

4. Sources, open licences, corrections

The statutes, instruments, notices and decisions served by the record are official publications of the United Kingdom. Legislation and government guidance are Crown material reused under the Open Government Licence v3.0 — reuse, commercial reuse included, is permitted with attribution, and the record contains public sector information licensed under that licence. Decisions of the First-tier Tribunal and the Upper Tribunal are reused under the Open Justice Licence, with the coverage of the case record stated. The compilation, arrangement, site design and original text of the service belong to the publisher.

Fidelity to the official sources is the service’s discipline: where a served text and the official publication disagree, the official publication prevails and the record is corrected. Suspected errors can be reported to management@tariq-ai.com.

5. Trademarks

Claude and Anthropic are trademarks of Anthropic, PBC; ChatGPT and OpenAI are trademarks of OpenAI, Inc. Other names cited on the site — among them HMRC, CDS and the names of departments, courts and tribunals — belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively, to identify sources and compatibility.
